Samson Siasia is well-known among soccer players and fans throughout the world as a member of one of the finest and most thrilling teams ever. He played in the U.S.A. during the 1994 World Cup as a starter on Nigeria’s national team, ranked fifth in the world. In the Fall of 2003, Samson coached boys teams, U12 Classic I and U17 Challenge A. View these team’s succeses below or on Samson’s Resume (CV). We are fortunate that he now coaches our fast-rising teams in the northern suburbs of Atlanta. Samson is available for private or small group training by appointment. Training focuses on learning to play well. Advanced players benefit from his ten (10) years of professional and national team experience. The players have quickly improved team play, gained new individual skills, and developed great confidence on the field. Since early last year, the children at High Meadows School have enjoyed his after-school youth soccer programs.

U-12 Boys Win Columbus Red Star Tournament

A fall season highlight was the boys’ victory. “U-12 Stars Win Columbus Red Star Top Division (Gold)” – December 8, 2003. Samson Siasia’s Under-12 team won the tournament. This is the culmination of five seasons coaching these young men to soccer excellence.

Samson Siasia’s Under-12 Stars Orange A team finishes high – December 2, 2003. Samson coached these young men from 9 year old kids to elite footballers, playing at the highest levels.

U-12 Boys Are Charlotte Finalists

This fall season opened with the U-12 Boys In The Charlotte Finals – August 17, 2003. The Orange A team were finalists in the Paramount-Carowinds Charlotte Invitational. The final pitted our Stars Orange against the Charlotte United Gold, ranked second in NC.

U-11 Promoted To Classic I At U12

ATLANTA, GA – June, 2003 – The U-12 Boys are promoted to Classic I, the highest state ranking and level of competition for the fall of 2003.

Sia Sports Announced

Sia Sports Announced – ATLANTA, GA – May 24, 2003 – Samson Siasia, announces Sia Sports, a line of sports apparel, clothing and accessories. The announcement coincides with the 40th anniversary celebration of his 1994-95 French championship at F.C. Nantes Atlantique. Plans call for wide international distribution.

U-11 State Championship, Chevy Cup Finalists

The U-11 Boys Are Chevy Cup Finalists for Stars Soccer Club – May 10, 2003. The Under-11 (U11) boys Orange team – one of the fastest rising youth teams in Georgia – won a finalist berth in the Chevy Cup, the State Championship Tournament. The final match pitted Stars Orange against the Cobb Chiefs (Cobb F.C.), ranked first in the state.

U-11 Boys Take Concorde Challenge Cup

U-11 Boys Win Concorde Tournament – February 22-23, 2003, took the “Black” division by defeating the Excel Golden Knights 6-0, Alpharetta Ambush 3-0, AUSA Freedom Silver 1-0, and beating Athens YMCA Express on points.

U-16 Boys Win Red Star Tournament

U-16 Boys Win Red Star Tournament Championship – December 7-8, 2002, beating West Gwinnett Freedom Bronze 3-0, Central Georgia Predators 1-0, Metro North Y (MNYMCA) 2-1, and coming back from 0-2 at the half of the final to beat East Cobb Rangers 4-3.

U-11 Boys Go 8-2-0, Triumph Finalists

Great Season Results – Fall 2002. Samson’s U11 Boys Orange “A” select soccer team had a great season. The team led the league with 75 goals in ten (10) games, and scored an average 5.94 goals/game while conceding only 1.24 goals/game.

U-10 Boys Win State Championship

U-10 Boys Win State Championship – June 2002, Chevy Cup, led by head coach Samson Siasia. These young men gained individual skills and confidence to win four straight games to take the Chevy Cup.
